Hi! I have a Xiaomi MiBox3 which runs Android TV 9, but I could not install TVBro via Google Play on it, and had to resort to Aptoide. Instead, the only device that I'm offered to install the app on is my Android Phone where it would quite likely be useless (see the screenshot).
Could you maybe do something to make it installable via Google play as well?

I'm using v1.6 alpha.

I have successfully saved multiple bookmarks in the browser list. But when I want to edit them, I can only modify or delete the first one.

Only the "trash" icon in the first bookmark is activated. No other more.

Editing the first marker works fine. But if I select any other to edit or delete, the action is performed on the first one.

This is fantastic app and true replacement for Puffin browser and Version 1.61 update is incredible and browser is super fast with ad blocker

There is only 1 thing that is jarring.

The white theme on the TV is blinding, is it any way that you will add a slightly dimmer or Grey/black background as an option for the Main page in the settings?

Is it possible for Dark mode in the future? :P

Anyways to clear all downloads instead of deleting them one by one?

Add possibility to switch between desktop and mobile mode

I tried many android TV browsers, and I think tv-bro and Samsung browser are the best (they are better than some paid browsers). I think it is better to allow the user to add more AdBlock lists or let the user can choose other filters. Another idea, can the user chose a mode (let us call it video tv mode) where it closes any other pup tabs.

Let me explain more if I open www.example.com to watch a video. When I click on the video, a new tab will open www.ad-example.com.
I must close it to watch the video.
My idea in the Video TV will open only links in www.example.com and close any other out links.
If the user wants to go to a new website www.example2.com the user must turn off the video tv mode, then go to www.example2.com.

Everytime I reopen the browser the page resets to default zoom?

Every browser I’ve ever used except this one lets you remove pages from the homepage. Even clearing my history doesn’t remove pages seemingly. I can’t even force new pages to appear there to get existing ones to drop off. Is there something I’m missing?

After updating from 1.6.0 to 1.6.0 Alpha 2, I can no long er see my history. I have been to several sites, hit the Clear buton, exited & restarted TV Bro, and also tried rebooting my Android TV box (browsing a bit after each) but the history is always empty, with nothing but the Clear button on the screen.

make back button behaviour like open browser available in android tv play store,pressing back will give options like going forward,back,add to bookmark,go to home,etc with big icons just like open browser/seraphric browser,thanks.

video doesn't get fullscreen on clicking full screen it just gets shifted to left corner and rest of the screen is complete black.

I really like your browser. But the thing is i like some web that have magnet links.... when i "click" in that link, the browser dont know what to do, dont give that link to the apropiated app (in my case stremio).

Would it be possible to allow assigning long-clicks to actions as well as normal clicks? For example if I wanted to make a long-click on the select button open the main menu instead of a short click on the back button.

when i put the string, it doesn't say anything, if i go back and open it gets cleared...

I just found this browser when try searching on github, its this project abandon? why this app only can be found on regular google play not tv?

On Fire Stick 4K, browsing to https://ustvgo.tv/ the channels play but clicking the full screen icon results in the video playing in small window surrounded by black borders.

I somehow managed to remove the binding for the main menu trigger, and locked myself out of the menu and the settings. I suspect I did this by reassigning the same key to a different action. I ended up having to delete app data just to be able to browse again. :D

I think it shouldn't be possible to clear the binding for the main menu action, or at least there should be a clear warning when doing this.

The remote that came with my Android TV device doesn't have many buttons. I'd like to be able to bind two functions to the same button by having one be triggered when pressing and immediately releasing the button, and the other be triggered when holding the button for a moment. For instance, pressing the back button and immediately releasing it brings up or hides the menu, and I'd like to be able to hold the back button to navigate back a page.

I am trying to play videos from videojs player but encountered a black screen. No moving video, but audio can still be heard.

With new version; browser video is not maximizing to full screen anymore

Reproducing steps:

1. Open menu -> settings (using right arrow on remote control)
2. Click left arrow to go back

I love the browser for many reasons and have been using it on all of the loaded devices I do for friends and family but lately I've noticed sometimes if I click on a .apk or .jpg file (only thing I download besides zip files which wouldn't be effected by this.) Then the extension gets changed to .zip for some odd reason. It makes the files unusable until I manually change the extension.

If I long press the links and select download that way I end up getting an error 🤷....so I end up going into the file manager and changing the extension back to whatever it was meant to be. Files work fine once i do that...just an extra step that can hopefully be resolved.

Have been experiencing these issues on my Nvidia Shield Pro as well as Fire TV devices I do for friends and family (4k and Lite Models). All devices are fully updated before any apps are installed.

I'm wondering how a user can customize TV Bro: Home so she could freely change the new tab page shortcuts to anything more meaningful for her needs.

The default new-tab.html layout is quite good the way it already is. It's simple, easy to use and navigate. The only missing feature is the ability to change that default recommendations[] within renderSuggestions().

Whatever way to accomplish that wfm, i.e.:

• A new config option where users could replace the default recommendations[];
• A new config option where users could select their own html file stored anywhere in the device as the new tab page.

Is anything like that in TV Bro's roadmap?

Could an option to block redirects and third party cookies be added to adblocker settings?

Unfortunately 2 weeks ago my favourite streaming site (livetv.sx) stopped loading.
Is there any particular reason and can I do something about it? It's working perfectly on other browsers, but they are not as fast.

I have a mouse connected to my Android TV device, and TV Bro seems to work pretty well with it, but I can't switch tabs by clicking with the mouse. I have to click and drag, as if I'm swiping with my finger on a touchscreen. This is doable, but awkward, and unintuitive, to the point that I didn't realize I could switch tabs with the mouse at all for quite some time and was picking up my remote to switch tabs with the D-pad.

We found an issue while changing resolution on youtube video. Cursor can't be used to select resolutions. Please see the picture attached above.
Below is the platform information:

Device: Android TV(AOSP) 6.0
User agent string: Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 6.0.1; TV Build/DDD00D) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/52.0.2743.98 Mobile Safari/537.36

While using other user agent string, sometimes the app will crash.

When you got chance, please help take a look on this issue.

Hi. Could you add zoom in/out feature and make the start page customisable? There are links to Facebook, YouTube etc. but no way to add your own websites for fast access. Other than that it works great on Chromecast with Google TV. Thanks.

I tested the current google play version on my smart tv. Great app. Unfortunately downloading files does not work.

Is there a way to optimize html5 streaming video playback because it's verry slow and laggy specially in full screen.
Or may be it's a webview limitation and we can't optimize it ?

I've got this message error unknown url scheme, when using netflix website and clicking on a movie, it opens url like: neflix.com/title/xxxxx which normaly should open my netflix app. but instead i've got unknown url scheme error.

Attaching files to GitHub issues doesn't work in version 1.6.0, it just shows a toast message that says "Cannot Open File Chooser", so I had to upload my screenshots elsewhere. (I used PostImg.cc.)

Using tv-bro on a Hyunday TV. It is working perfectly. However the Hyunday android version has a screensaver with no option to turn it off, so the TV screen turns off every 2 hours... Already contacted Hyunday about it, no response from their side... Is it possible to have an option to keep the screen always on?

Can we have such option in TV Bro?

Upgrading from 1.6.0 (which is listed as an alpha version) to 1.6.0 Alpha 2 shows the version as 1.6.0 for both. Please consider including 'Alpha', 'Alpha 2', 'Beta', 'Beta 2', etc. in the displayed version text for future versions.
