pokecrystal-access's Issues

Crystal Clear support?

Hello!

I haven't really read too far into this; but would Crystal based hacks - Crystal Clear in particular - work with this script? I have a guy whose eyes are pretty bad (got worse in 2020, best timing ever...) and I would love to throw something good his way :)

Since CC did not change any of the drawing mechanics - aside from the custom screens they added for customization and the PiggyDex - do you think it would work?

Thank you and kind regards,
Ingwie

could there be an autowalk feature?

Hi,

really have been enjoying playing Pokemon Crystal with these scripts!

My question is, could there be a feature, when I am browsing the paths to the different objects that I could press a shortcut and have my character start automatically walking to the object? It's just that it gets slightly tiresome rechecking the path 5+ times as I am walking a long path somewhere and it would be really nice if the character would just walk there by themselves.

Move description

For some reason, the screen reader fails to read move descriptions on a pokemon's MOVE screen.

sorting objects by coords

One thing I was thinking while going down rute 32 on my new run. is how it is difficult to efficiently battle all the trainers, pick up items, pick trees, etc. in order while going down a new route.

What I found myself doing, since route 32 is north to south, cycling through the list of objects and going down to the next object that is the least number down from me. This way I will approximately take the most efficient route, like I would if I could see the screen.

However, the issue is that the list of objects isnt sorted, so I would have to cycle through the whole thing when I wanted to find the next thing to go to. This would be made much easier if the user could switch between the list being sorted by type of object, as it is now, and it being sorted either east-west or north-south.

I know this wouldn't be useful for every single map, but it would be useful for most of them.

Pocket category name

There are four categories of items. It would be nice to speak the category name before anything else:
Items
Key Items
Balls
TM/HM

Now that I think more about it, speaking the item name before its description would be just as fine.
