elastics's Issues

Elastics has stopped working for me (El Capitan)

Elastics, which I've come to rely on for my day-to-day work, has stopped working on my Mac (El Capitan; 10.11.3).

In the Console, on launch, I see errors like:

2016-03-08 2:10:05.989 PM storelegacy[486]: LaunchServices: received XPC_ERROR_CONNECTION_INVALID trying to map database
2016-03-08 2:10:05.989 PM storelegacy[486]: LaunchServices: disconnect event received for service com.apple.lsd.mapdb
2016-03-08 2:10:05.989 PM storelegacy[486]: LaunchServices: Database mapping failed with result -10822, retrying
2016-03-08 2:10:05.996 PM storelegacy[486]: LaunchServices: disconnect event received for service com.apple.lsd.mapdb
2016-03-08 2:10:06.001 PM storelegacy[486]: LaunchServices: disconnect event received for service com.apple.lsd.modifydb
2016-03-08 2:10:06.000 PM kernel[0]: Sandbox: storelegacy(486) deny(1) mach-lookup com.apple.lsd.modifydb
2016-03-08 2:10:06.034 PM sandboxd[145]: ([486]) storelegacy(486) deny mach-lookup com.apple.lsd.mapdb

There is no crash report: the app simply refuses to launch.

I would truly appreciate any guidance in this regard: there aren't any alternatives available for AWS monitoring and control that are as elegant as Elastics.

Elastics has stopped working for me (OS X Sierra)

Not entirely sure if it's due to OS X Sierra or because I've started working with VPC instances, both happened simultaneously. It seems that the d-ross branch no longer compiles with the latest XCode either. Keeps complaining about some dependencies or libraries not being found. I tried to install them in the right places (OpenSSL, etc.) but it didn't work... ObjC isn't my area of expertise so maybe it's something easy to fix for someone who knows what they're doing.

Can I maintain Elastics?

Hi,
I didn't know that Elastics has been removed from AppStore. (Because I'm still using it properly on my mac)

I love this project and want to maintain. Is it available?

Thanks.
