Interesting... I'll investigate the issue when I get back home on my PC. I'm thinking it could be a platform issue for now.

The program scrapes data directly from your last.fm profile page in order to retrieve the "Scrobbling Now" item. It's weird that it shows on the web page but not on the application.

For now though, I would say try sticking to the default refresh rate of 10 seconds just to not get rate-limited by last.fm.

Let me know if anything changes

Thanks for reporting. I'm looking into this issue but I can't seem to reproduce it on my end (both on Windows/Linux).

If you'd like, I can take a look and try replicating it with your last.fm username.

My lastfm username is "awroby".
This is how I'm executing: lfm-cli-windows-amd64.master.exe -u awroby -r 1.

Which version of lfm-cli are you using? The version I'm currently on is v1.2.0

You can pull the version by running lfm-cli-windows-amd64.master.exe -v

C:\Users\user\Downloads>lfm-cli-windows-amd64.master.exe -v
lfm-cli version v1.2.2

I'll try the v.1.2.0 version and update you here.

Just tested on Windows, v1.2.2 and v1.2.0 seems to be working just fine.

I'm not exactly sure what could be causing this problem on your end.

  • Was this a problem that occurred in the past/resolved itself? Or just now, out of the blue?
  • Try scrobbling using last.fm's native web scrobbler (pressing play any track with a YouTube/Spotify linked should activate the web scrobbler). I want to rule out the possibility that this is an issue with the scrobbler client.
