Usage

lfm-cli works right out of the box - no configuration needed.

To get started, download the latest release. These binaries are built on GitHub Actions.

With Discord open, run the following binary in your console

foo@bar:~$ lfm-cli -u MYUSERNAME

For full reference on flags, run the binary with the -h or --help flag.

Known Issues

  • Requires restart when Discord is closed while the application is active.

Restart is required when Discord is closed

Describe the bug
When the Discord client is restarted, the rich presence is not active and the executable is stuck on The pipe is being closed.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Run the executable with the required arguments with Discord open in the background
  2. Begin scrobbling music on Last.FM
  3. Restart discord

Expected behavior
Automatically resume rich presence upon restart.

Song does not get updated

Describe the bug
Looks like the app does not update automatically when I stop and play another song. Even tho on last.fm it shows "scrobbling now", the app output in debug mode shows:
