Klee treats UA double-slabs as full blocks and breaks them as such and doesn't show the hitbox below a slab.

The sideways slabs (and other orientations) aren't compatible with moving constructs in Create. Rotating bearings for example cause non-normal slabs to become pink/black no texture blocks. Quark doesn't have this problem with their sideways slabs, so maybe contact Vazkii for pointers on how to keep the texture there? Thanks!

The slabs from https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/vanilla-builders-extension are not working with the KleeSlab mod.

Some Betweenlands slabs cannot be removed. When broken in survival, they drop the block then instantly reappear. When broken in creative, they just instantly reappear. All other Betweenlands slabs break appropriately.

This only occurs when KleeSlabs is installed alongside The Betweenlands.

The new versions (both 5.4.6 and 5.4.7) have a weird interaction with Thermal Foundation hammers. In Creative mode only, the hammers break the 3x3 area, and then the broken blocks are immediately replaced with Botania Sunny Quartz slabs, as if you were trying to break just one slab in a double slab. Version 5.3.2 does not cause this, nor does it happen in Survival, and I haven't found any of the other area-mine tools that it happens with.

I'm working on an issue with Silent Gear, where resources from the data folder sometimes fail to load. I have not been able to reproduce the issue myself, but several users have reported the issue only occurs when KleeSlabs is installed. I may know why this is happening.

I noticed you are using ISelectiveResourceReloadListener. For whatever reason, this accesses a client-only class, ReloadRequirements. I recommend using IResourceManagerReloadListener instead. It is marked as deprecated, but I have had no issues with it.

Klee appears to completely break in the presence of DoubleSlabs, though the hitbox for a full block appears on the bottom of a slab

I'm playing 1.16.5 with Klee Slabs and Biomes O' Plenty, but when placing any slabs from it(eg: redwood & fir) I can't break just one half of it.

Works fine with vanilla slabs on 1.11.2, but doesn't work with Quark slabs. I'm using Quark 1.2-73.

Version 5.3.2 of this mod on MC 1.12.2 doesn't work with slabs from Quark 1.4-121.

got a random server crash, not sure why or what lead up to it, but it names klee slabs in the crash log, using klee slabs version 7.4.5 on forge 27.0.13 with some other mods present, they are listed in the log below.

Currently the code results in a bunch of messages similar to the following appearing in the log,
[Client thread/ERROR] [net.blay09.mods.kleeslabs.KleeSlabs]: Slab quartzSlabDarkHalfFull could not be found., and the slabs don't break properly in game.
The block it should be looking for is quartzSlabDarkFull, so Half is being accidentally left in by the regex in the config.
I believe simply replacing (.+)(?:Half)? with (.+)(?:Half) should do the trick!

Edit: Sorry to combine issues, but this one is related and tiny, Botania is not listed in the default config.

Game crashed when entering a village in a single player world and looking at double stone slabs generated in the blacksmith building.

EDIT: I realise in your commits it appears that this is fixed, but I wasn't sure if this was a different issue, since the upload date for the file on CurseForge is more recent than the commits date.

EDIT 2: Please ignore this and just close it. I was stupid. I'm using the 1.9.4 version somehow? I don't even know how I managed that. I'm a fucking mess. Sorry.

The KleeSlabs 1.14.4 release contains an old compat json for Botania (https://github.com/blay09/KleeSlabs/blob/1.14.x/src/main/resources/data/kleeslabs/kleeslabs_compat/botania.json) that does not work in 1.14.4.

Loading Botania alongside KleeSlabs at the moment causes an exception that breaks any further data packs from loading. In 1.14.4, resource locations can't have upper case characters (causing the below error), and Botania has renamed their slabs to suit. I don't currently have the time to update the json, but I think these exceptions should also be caught inside JsonCompatLoader, as having them thrown breaks other mods (in this case, the most obvious was Silent Gear).

I get this error (doesn't crash the game) when I launch KleeSlabs with Quark:

I think removing this line would fix the issue, because if you look here and here, there's no stained_clay_tiles_slab being registered.

Couldn't really think of a good title, sorry.

Can you add support for shift-mining (or something similar) whole slab blocks? I like this mod and it makes life easier when you need to mine one slab at a time, but inversely, when you need to mine the entire block you have to mine both slabs individually. I think it sounds like a good addition to the mod, but I don't know if it's possible to add this code-wise. I thought I'd ask at least. Sorry if this isn't how/where you're supposed to suggest features.
