this is mentioned in the README. It is a problem, as it can result in random crashes. I believe @ludovicabrusaferri recommended to comment this after the first run. Not so nice of course. I suppose there could be a "set-up" macro which actually doesn't simulate anything so presumably would be fast. Not sure if this can be done without duplication. (maybe some sed stuff to create 2 from one).
We could leave this as-is (i.e. with the warning) of course

Yeah this was always a problem. The comment it out after running once was acceptable for a while but now VoxelisedXCAT/GATESubMacros/phantomReg.mac is a little more burried.
It is difficult to see what is correct to do right now, no option is great.

In fact, seems to me that this bit used
phantomReg.mac, but nothing else.
So, I believe you need a macro that creates the attenuation-index thing (i.e. phantomReg.mac + the actor). Then an actual simulation macro that uses that. That's neater anyway, as someone might want to do their own segmentation and not use the actor.
