If it's not already present, we need a field in the Solr back-end that indicates whether a Target is open access.

I was under the impression that when you click on a collection there should be a thumbnail for each target. At the moment these are all blank.

For ukwa/w3act#582, we need to add some fields to the Solr Collections instance, and to make things clearer this whole repo should be refactored to provide a Dockerized Solr server.

i.e. merge the solr branch into master and strip out most content so ukwa-collections-solr is the top-level thing. Then rename the repo to ukwa-collections-solr.

The ukwa-web-ui/python-scripts/import-to-solr.py script should be merged into https://github.com/ukwa/python-shepherd as part of the set of w3act tasks.

A prototype Solr back-end has been developed by @chrispeacockbl under the solr branch. Next step is to test this on the BETA UKWA service.

Following our meeting, I suggest we remove menu items that go nowhere, and minimise what we have. On the issue of empty fields, right now I'd rather leave them there but empty than hide them.

The solr default url is currently hardcoded in global.java; please move to the appropriate config file. Needed asap for deployment.

We need to link to the correct Wayback endpoint, based on the location of the user. e.g. if on the BL site, we should link to the Ericom playback gateway if only NPLD access is allowed. Same for NLS/NLW etc. May need to work with Andy Irving to know how this might work.
