Create a proposal to integrate any of UMA’s products and post it on a governance forum

Challenge Description

This is a non-technical bounty which makes direct use of UMAs products to integrate with another protocol. An integration is defined by uDAO’s KPI Option uMIP, more specifically a DAO using one of our LSP (long-short pair) contracts. The products you can choose from are KPI options, success tokens, and range tokens… The integration’s total value locked doesnt have to be large, a small integration is just fine.

Submission Requirements

• Must create an integration proposal and post it on a protocols governance forum
• Must submit a document explaining your approach and thought process as to why you chose that particular protocol
• What were the challenges you faced, which of the products seem most appealing to use and why, etc.

Judging Criteria

• Does the proposal seem likely to get through the protocol’s governance process?
• Does the proposal solve a problem that the DAO is facing?
• Was their explanation well thought out and detailed enough to understand why they chose that product for that particular protocol?

Hackathon KPI options (Need to talk to the other sponsors first)

Prize bounty

200 $UMA Tokens (a team can claim this for themselves to launch a KPI option for themselves).

Challenge Description

A non-technical bounty to design a KPI option based on this decentralized governance hackathon and to convince a sponsor team to fund the KPI option. If you successfully convince another team sponsor of your KPI options idea and obtain the funding, you’ll receive your KPI options along with the prizes when distributed. For example, a hacker creates a KPI option for Gnosis that pays that hacker if their idea has TVL in it at the end of 2022.

Submission Requirements

• Must submit a proposal to the sponsor of your KPI option design
• Must get through the sponsor teams governance process (if applicable)

Judging Criteria

• Did the hacker get through all the submission requirements?

SuperUMAn Onboarding Recurring Meeting POAP

Every week the SuperUMAns hold a weekly meeting for new recruits to ask questions and help guide them to becoming full fledged SuperUMAns. Since these meetings are weekly we are looking for a template that we can interchange the date for every meeting. We are looking for a welcoming POAP that captures SuperUMAns guiding and helping new members along their journey!

Best design for a practical, well-considered ‘real world’ KPI Options Proposal

Prize Bounty

200 $UMA Tokens.

Challenge Description

This is a non technical prize bounty, we are looking for creative and practical proposals that uses UMA’s KPI options in a real world scenario. KPI options are an incentive mechanism that allows us to design metrics that if or when achieved before the expiry date will be worth a certain amount. You don’t want to design a system that can be gamified but at the same time not impossible to achieve the maximum potential payout… We’d like the proposal ‘pitch ready’ so anyone can approach someone in a position of power with this proposal and it would be ready or near ready for implementation. Recommended to have a clear picture of who this is for during your proposal.

Examples

Incentivizing a university to payout KPI options based off graduation rates, incentives for kids to stay in school, renewable energy usage, recycling, businesses incentivizing their workforce, etc.

Submission Requirements

• Must use KPI options
• Must submit your proposal directly to who you are targeting and provide proof of submission
• Should be a fully thought out proposal that is ‘pitch ready’ and can be implemented right away

Best Tool to help a DAO understand or design a treasury management solutions using UMA

Prize bounty

200 $UMA Tokens.

Challenge Description

This is a technical bounty for a tool that can be used to help explain how UMA’s treasury management tools work. We have two products we're targeting: Range tokens and Success tokens. You can choose to target one or both products. Should keep in mind this is to help integrate, appeal, and streamline to VCs. It can be a front end UI, anything that one would find appealing and easy to use, or helping VC’s by using UMA products to work with protocols. An example of what we're looking for is something like an interactive calculator that you can plug in certain parameters and it will show you graphics and sales details.

Submission Requirements

• Must make use of either the range token, success token, or both.
• Must have a demo of how the tool works

Judging Criteria

• Is the tool interactive?
• Is it engaging and easy to use?
• Would this tool help explain either the range or success tokens?

UMA and the SuperUMAns will be sponsoring a trivia night with 1hive on December 17th! There will be prizes, discussion, and a lot of cross-pollination! Across Protocol POAP

Challenge Description

Across protocol is a novel bridging method that combines UMA’s optimistic oracle, bonded relayers and single-sided liquidity pools to provide decentralized instant transactions from rollup chains to Ethereum mainnet. It promises to be the fastest, cheapest, and most secure L2 -> L1 bridge in the Ethereum ecosystem.

Our community is tasked with building all of the elements of a DAO before the creators turn over full control to the community. Once complete, the protocol will be fully community run and community owned. This POAP will be distributed at an End of year party, where we celebrate the accomplished milestones on the way to forming our DAO.

Submission Requirements

• Must use across branded elements
• Any tie-ins (optional) to UMA should use UMA branded assets accordingly.
