gtrash's Issues

Custom Trash folder

It would be nice if you could specify where to look for the Trash folder, where to use it.

The yes/no placeholder while permanently deleting something is confusing

Describe the bug
Whenever you try to permanently delete something from the trash there is a yes/no prompt that feels confusing at first.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Put at file in trash(gtrash put <filename>)
  2. Try to delete it(gtrash find <filename> --rm)

Expected behavior
If the prompt was a bit clear like y/n or (y)es/(n)o that would be helpful

Version (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Linux
  • Version: 0.0.5

Additional context
I know this is a minor inconvenience but it would be helpful. I can make a quick pr with the fix if you want.

NixOS package

I really would love to see your package in the nix package repository.

Do you think you could add it ?

DOesnt show trashed file from other program

I use Debian 12 Stable.

My trash folder is /home/Data/.Trash

When I issue the next command: gtrash put file , then put file to the /home/Data/.Trash and all fines.
But I delete other files with (example) Transmission-gtk program, the files delete to /home/Data/.Trash, but the gtrash program doesnt see these files.

Support macOS trash can($HOME/.Trash)

According to the README, this command does not support the macOS system trash can.
Can this tool deal with this for $HOME/.Trash?
If this function is implemented, the Mac user can use this conveniently.
