I am a masters student pursuing my masters degree in Computational Science and Engineering at TUM, Germany.
I am trying to use the noiseplanet library for one of my projects and was making myself comfortable by following the example test cases. The example test case (Link) with the track data worked perfectly fine.

1. However when I passed the track data generated by my code, it was not able to plot the results.

I tried debugging the files but I was not able to figure out why the variables "track" and "track_corr" had different sizes after applying the hmm model. Please find the attached screenshot for more details.

Shapes are as below

2. Can you also give some idea on the variable "dist" in ox.graph_from_point and what value should be good to avoid such errors in real time?

The issue is we have only emails and our answers are not shared with the community.

Give the possibility to complete the NoiseCapture database with other data

Add a contributor ranks in the statistics page.

Display for each contributor:

• rank
• installation identifier as a "Device Id"
• number of measurements
• total length of measurements (descending order)

It is could be a good idea to list all ambassadors, such as:

Thanks to Jiří Podhorecký, the website is now translated in Czech.
Since this langage has specific caracters, we now have some a small problem

I noticed one thing that I often encounter when translating some web pages and software into Czech.

The font used incorrectly interpretes some specific Czech characters, such as "ž" "š" "č" etc... which are either
 interpreted by another font or are in a different face, usually visibly thicker. 

... to find a solution, maybe change font family or using the Lato and Roboto fonts.

How big is the size of a measurement file sent from my smartphone?

When NoiseCapture data server is down, no measurements are displayed on the map at http://noise-planet.org/map_noisecapture/
It should be important to have a message on the map displaying the fact that data are temporarily unavailable

Give the possibility to other to add a map in their own website, with collected data from NoiseCapture

Instead of having just one page about the protocol and party (in fact this is not clear), we should have two separated pages.

• one for the protocol of measurment
• one for the noisecapture party (how to organize, how to proceed, ... ?)

The location name must be improved. One option would be to use the osm geocoder.

We have to make a redirection of http://onomap.noise-planet.org/ to http://map.noise-planet.org/

Keep http://onomap.noise-planet.org/ alive for the moment.

Currently all web pages are duplicated for each languages.

There is another way to localize the website by using a javascript library that will use resource file to translate html content after the loading of the page.

When selecting an area, in addition to current information (Measure duration, LAeq...), add an information about the number of 'unique' contributors

When the user is on the map, it will be useful to obtain a link for the map, which can be shared.

We have to export the "NoiseCapture party" protocol (https://github.com/Ifsttar/NoiseCapture/blob/gh-pages/NoiseCaptureParty_FR.html) into a web page that will be integrated in the future Noise-Planet.org website.

In the same time, we have to translate this protocol into english.

Add a page 'Calibration', with information about how to calibrate a smartphone (texts and videos).
In addition, insert a list on a specific page, built from the NoiseCapture raw data, that contains the following table:
Manufacturer | Device model | Device reference | Number of NoiseCapture installation | Mean value of the Gain | A distribution of the value the Gain |

The idea is to provide information for user about Gain value that are used by other for similar smartphone.
