  1. Go to Google Cloud Platform and create a new project.

  2. Navigate to "APIs & Services" > "Credentials" in the GCP Console.

  3. Click on "Create Credentials" and select "OAuth client ID."

  4. Choose "Web application" as the application type.

  5. Enter your application's name and authorized JavaScript origins (e.g., http://localhost:3000 for local development).

  6. Add "Authorized redirect URIs" (e.g., http://localhost:3000/auth/google/callback).

  7. Click "Create" to generate your client ID and secret key.

Environment Variables

Create a .env file in the root directory of your project and add the following environment variables:

GOOGLE_CLIENT_ID=your_client_id_here
GOOGLE_CLIENT_SECRET=your_client_secret_here
