Since 4.15, Tampermonkey uses eslint-plugin-userscripts to validate userscript headers. The docs are here.

It'd be nice if this package used the plugin to lint headers before actually prepending them to the file.

I've been digging through this project to figure out how to use it, but I can't figure it out. If it can generate userscript headers that'd be amazing, but I'd need to know how to use it :P

I use the Parcel bundler to generate my built script. It would be nice if we could prepend the header to this generated file (by specifying the path).

There's been a report that when run in WSL, neither --direct nor --output options work at all.

In the default programmatic example, the namespace and homepage are not generated. I tried changing the first input to tampermonkey, but it doesn't change the result

Also, the import seems wrong in Stackoverflow. It should be

import { generate } from "@userscripters/generate-headers/dist/generate"

As per #126 (comment)

Default sort: @name first, the rest of the headers sorted alphabetically (specifically to avoid deviating from the current behavior)

CLI option name: --sort for long, likely -s for short (check if the short option conflicts with any of the existing ones)
