tuya-water-leak-sensor's Issues

Flashing with battery.

Hi,

In order to flash the Tashmota firmware, i had to:

  1. Remove the 3.3V USB TTL from the VM0.
  2. Short the battery minus connector to GPIO0.
  3. Insert battery and then flash.

Took a lot of time to figure this out, hope it helps others.

Error in README.md Rule2

In README.md, there is an error in Rule2. There is a missing ENDON after the first ON condition for BATT Full. This prevented the BATT status being published to MQTT.

tasmota 12.1.1 not working

hi,

I have similar module but rebranded to local brand called as Fonri. It is written Wifi_Flood_v6.0. 20171130 on it. I flashed tasmota successfully with different tools. When I run the module for configuration in serial monitor there is empty screen and nothing happens.

I checked if flash successfull by downloading the firmware in it but it seems tasmota was in it successfully. I also erased firmware and then flash it. Tried all of the tools but tasmota can not run on it. Also there is no wifi ap connection. It seems it doesnt boot the tasmota.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Eyup

Works for BAZZ water sensor using Tasmota 12.0.2

This worked for a BAZZ Smart WiFi Water Leak Sensor. I used Tasmotizer with latest Tasmota 12.0.2.

For easier rule setting, apply +3V directly to VM0, then you don't have to keep connecting probe tips to power up the ESP. For normal use and rule testing, connect power to the + battery terminal.

Battery Overheat

Had been using the Merkury brand version with the Tuya app prior to flashing Tasmota. Once flashed when I insert the battery it very quickly overheats, any theories why this might be?
