Department hours feature take a bit more work to implement mostly because data has to be parsed and formatted the same as way as in Drupal. The json endpoint uses exports the timestamp in an international format that might need to be parsed in PHP and formatted to match what Drupal displays.

Due to it, the code has been commented for such feature as a future enhancement as most sites don't actively used such setting in the footer anyway.
