If a blueprint book in a chest can be updated via the blueprint library, this might be possible.

Create a memory station of the item put into a provider station to allow LTN manager to see where an item would be provided, even if the provider station is empty.

Perhaps crushing them to crystal dust and then to crystal slurry.

#34 causes trains to wait at a provider station indefinitely if there is no cargo to provide.

A train is always scheduled to go to a requester station but only 2 trains are allowed to be scheduled to a requester station. If both 2 trains are at an empty provider station, no train will come to the requester station until cargo is provided again, potentially delaying throughput if another provider station does have cargo.
