I really liked this mod and I think the broom is a fine and nifty addition. I wanted to suggest a minor mod interaction with Zombie Awareness.
If you use the broom, it kills the bloodstains from that mod and the scent around you, effectively "cleaning" the area. Since they are entities, something as the command /kill @e[type=zombieawareness:entityscent,r=5] would work.

I am curious if it's possible for various card games to be added to this mod.

Poker, Solitaire, Go Fish, it's really up to you - I thought I'd make this suggestion since my own modpack has sort of a "casual" theme to it.

With chess boards being a thing, it wouldn't be the same without checkers eh?

Amazing mod so far by the way! It deserves a lot more for the content it adds.
