aisradar_pi's Issues

Anchored or moored targets

A user requested the feature of a black dot on targets that have anchored or moored status. I have done this and it is tested. Would it be best to make a new version number or just add this feature to the existing master branch? Or do you not care to implement this feature?

Plugin Manager - Frontend2

Jordan,
Would you like me to fork and make a PR that adds Plugin Manager Frontend2 that will bring your Plugin into the current way of installing? I would then make a Pull Request to your repos.

PS: it becomes availabe to a number of environments.

strange release tag

Hi,

your tag for version 0.98 is named "aisradar_pi-0.98" where it should read v0.98 or something... could you please fix this as it would make packaging your plugin a lot easier, thank you!

AISradar crashes O and Preferences

Hannes,

I've updated the PI to Jon's latest TP frontent2 version 1.0.176.0

We have noticed some things that need to be fixed about this plugin.

  1. In PIM, Update catalogues, disable all PI, enable AISradar, open & close preferences, disable and O crashes.
  2. This needs to be fixed.

Also in Preferences there are two checkboxes

  1. Show AIS Icon
  2. Show AIS as Radar
I don't believe we need either of these icons any more. If the PI is enabled and open, it should show the AIS. Simple.
There is no need for preferences I think.

Do you agree?

AISradar range is not working. We have had to remove this update from the PI Catalogs.

Hannes,

Note: I tried merging a small change in Verezano repo made awhile ago. The plugin is still misbehaving and not working, but please accept the PR and then fix the range problems.

Please see this issue Opencpn 5.7.1 AISradar problem.
rgleason#14

I have been unable to find where this is being calculated for each Target.
Can you advise?

Also why would it be calculating approximately 2nm for all Targets?
I can set breakpoints and step through things, but have not been able to find the lines where this is calculated and need your help to fix this problem.

Thanks. Rick

please tag releases

Hi!

It would be very usefull to have tagged releases, so the source for a specific version of th eplugin can be downloaded. Please add a release/tag for your released versions. This makes packaging a lot easier.

I'd like to package this plugin for Gentoo Linux and for that it requires a reliable specific download URL for the releases.

Thanks in advance!
