If the screen goes to sleep or the computer is locked, the next camera is not rendered, the computer has to be unlocked to continue.
Blender 2.8
Currently, RenderBurst will overwrite files in a folder if they have the same names. If you make a change and want to compare the original images with the results of the change, the original renders are lost if you do not move the images to a new folder.
It might be useful to have a checkbox that, when checked, will save the images into a different folder each time RenderBurst is used. Maybe the date and time that the rendering started would be a good naming pattern, so rather than having:
/outputDirectory
Camera.001.png
Camera.002.png
Camera.003.png
it can produce
/outputDirectory
/2019-01-03-17-30
Camera.001.png
Camera.002.png
Camera.003.png
/2019-01-04-17-00
Camera.001.png
Camera.002.png
Camera.003.png
/2019-01-04-17-30
Camera.001.png
Camera.002.png
Camera.003.png
Of course, if the checkbox is not checked, the old behaviour would remain. I'd be happy to proved a pull request, but I'm not enormously familiar with Blender add-on development so it would probably not be of high quality.
Remember to choose a license and add it to this project :)
Seems like if the Blender (2.8) window is not in the foreground, Render Burst finishes rendering the current camera, but does not continue with the next one.
BTW. awesome add-on!
Hey guys,
I often bind cameras to time markers in order to quickly switch between them. I noticed this causes addon to render one view only for all cameras. Here is a file to test: render_burst_bug.zip (happens both in 2.79.6 and 2.80)
Thanks for the great plugin!
When rendering (no matter if is for all cameras or selected), behaves like is in infinite loop rendering the first camera on a on.
Hi @GlebAlexandrov !
Thanks for the amazing work you've put into developing this plugin.
I've done some research while trying to find a batch rendering Blender plugin and, just like you said in the Youtube intro of RenderBurst, most of the other plugins are just bloated with functionalities I don't necessarily need at the moment (like Render+ from BlenderMarket to just put a batch of renders according to only different cameras.
I've been wondering if you'd be keen on letting some maintainers to the repo. I would myself have some ideas how to contribute (e.g. updating to new Blender versions, setting individual render resolution per camera, etc.). Plus there are other cool PRs which may improve RenderBurst rapidly, like #12
Cheers!
it's not added like every other addon through blender pereferences
Hey @GlebAlexandrov,
I've been using this addon for quite a while now, and I must say, updating it is causing me trouble
because I have to keep more than 75 addons up to date. Therefore, it would be great, if you could Implement an Updater, e.g. the one by CG Cookie.

Hi, When I render, only the first camera will continue to render, and it will continue to render, unable to exit. My Blender Version is ‘blender-2.81-382e7ce9ecfb-windows64’ build on October 18.
In Blender 3.0 the Toggle: (All Cameras | Selected Only) ahs dissapeard. last known working version (i tested) with 2.92 .. so probably also 2.93.
I am trying render several cameras. They are not involved in animation but I am getting an error that animation is not supported. Please advise as to how to troubleshoot. Thanks!
I could take a look and probably will to see what is happening, but it's not doing anything for me.
if you add an option to
burstrender all cameras of - all scenes -
where there are different light setups und object visibility
Hi there, is it possible to render animation sequences? I'm looking for a faster way to turn out 360 renders using eevee.
Is this possible at the moment or is it something you may consider implementing?
So I've rendered 3 images but only one had the D-noise effect on it
