An essential human resources employee data base management app that allows HR to:

• view all employees in the company
• view all existing roles in the company
• view all departments
• view all employees in each department
• view all employees of any given manager
• add a new department
• add a new role (and define salary and department for the new role)
• add a new employee (and assign role, manager, and department)
• update an employee role (and reassign their manager)
• output the total annual company payroll total

This application was developed using Node and JavaScript, with dependencies on Inquirer, MySQL, and cTable.

To install this application, it is recommended that you clone this repo to a folder on your local device. Open the repo in the code editor of your choice (I prefer VS Code).

Step 1: Open an integrated terminal from inside the project folder and the following command to install all required dependencies:

npm i

Step 2: From the integrated terminal, start the application with the following command:

npm start
