Requirements

Installation

npm install --save vue-identify-network

CDN: UNPKG | jsDelivr (available as window.VueIdentifyNetwork)

Build Setup

# package the library

Usage

Global component:

Slots

Name Description
unknown Named slot for when the type of connection is unidentifyable
slow Named slot for when navigator.connection.effectiveType === '2g'
fast Named slot for when navigator.connection.effectiveType !== '2g'

Props

Name Type Required? Default Description
unknown-class String No null Styling the div which you want to give if network type is undetected.
slow-class String No null Styling the div which you want to give if network type is slow.
fast-class String No null Styling the div which you want to give if network type is fast.

Events

Name Returns Description
@network-type String Emits a string value
@network-speed String Emits a number value

Unable to identify network on iOS

Everything is working fine on android os, but on iOS, it is always unable to identify network. Anyone encountered this issue on iOS? If you encountered this, how did you resolve this? Advance thank you for the help :D

Device used:
iPhone 6 v12.4.8

Hi, is there any way to use it in Vue 3?

I've already tried npm install --save vue-identify-network@3 but not working.

Hi, when I try t use this in my Vue2 application I get this error:

Property or method "type" is not defined on the instance but referenced during render. Make sure that this property is reactive, either in the data option, or for class-based components, by initializing the property.
