split_to_max relies on splitFind (unsure if other tools do).

splitFind expects the plain shard key value. With a hashed sharded collection, split_to_max evaluates arbitrary ranges for a split. While this is harmless, it may end up not splitting the chunk ranges intended.

Should be 2X the maximum number of connections we want.

most likely, I just don't know what I am doing.

This is what I am trying to do:

mongos> sh.consolidate_ns_chunks(mydatabase.data)

This is on Mongo 4.2. Possibly it just doesn't work on 4.2?

Reproduces on MongoDB 3.6 and 4.0.

It tried it with 3.6.9 and with 4.0.9 - wasn't able to get a meaningful output with either of these two versions.
