english-study-plan's Issues

Plan and progress

The plan is made for 6 months. In the beginning I've tried to work two lessons per week but it didn't work out well. It's very hard to do six grammar and a couple of speaking exercises in a row. At least for me, e.g. when you don't have any real weekend. So, I've decided to spend 30 minutes per day on English practice and do at least single grammar or speaking exercise. Lets see how it goes. It goes surprisingly fine. Who can't find 30 minutes per day? Definitely not me.

Grammar. Lessons are marked by G letter and show the interval of tasks to take from "English Grammar in Use - 4th Edition. Intermediate(Blue)" of Murphy.

Pronunciation. Lessons are marked by P letter. They are taken either from https://pronuncian.com/sounds or "Intermediate English Pronunciation in Use" (Cambridge). After some time I can say that IMO the latter is much better. I've stopped using the first.
Also one important note here. It's better to pass a pronunciation test and see what sounds are hard to say. I recommend practice only these failed sounds. It does not make much sense to waste your time on something that you can do. The book "Pronunciation in use" has 3 parts. Be sure to check sounds in all of them cause they complement each other.
