I think a solution would be to create the folder first, then allow the user resource to modify the permissions to the folder.

Manage home should create the homedir, I think we need to change the parent home directory or create it before. /opt/atlassian/application-data/ I will update this.

I think this is an issue with my default example, if one just does
class { 'stash':
group => 'stashadm',
}The default homedir will be /home/stash, and it sould just work fine.
