From alpine-linux dockerized bind9 with Webmin GUI

webmin with bind module only (v1.979)

Build docker by

docker build -t IMAGE_NAME(:tag) .

Example compose file

bind:
    image: IMAGE_NAME:tag
    volumes:
      - "/LOCAL/PATH/TO/BIND/CONFIG:/etc/bind"
    restart: always
    environment:
      TZ: "Region/City"
    ports:
      - "53:53/udp"          #dns service
      - "10000:10000/tcp"    #webmin http

For simpler use, You can do:

    network_mode: host

instead "ports" directive

ENV's:

TZ - set Your timezone
GUI_USER - run with different user (default: admin)
GUI_PASSWORD - run with different password (default: difficult)
IPV6 - enable/disable ipv6 (default: disable)
EXTEND_LOGGING - true/false for extended logging (default: false) #when true there is a possibility to define logging {} in bind config

ENV Vars for GUI login seem to not work.

Hello vrx-666,

the login with this docker image on my unraid server with the two environment variables you described on the readme did not work in the first place. I thought I were doing something wrong but the default credentials did work so my guess is that the env variables, which I checked within the container, seem to not affect or override the default credentials.

SSL support for WebUI

Would it be possible to add SSL support for the Webmin GUI in a future update?

I tried adding it myself by mounting a volume over /etc/webmin and then enabling it at Webmin -> Webmin Configuration -> SSL Encryption -> Enable SSL, but that didn't work and in the error logs it complained about missing the "openssl" binary.
