linnotify

This README outlines the details of collaborating on this Ember application. A short introduction of this app could easily go here.

Prerequisites

You will need the following things properly installed on your computer.

Installation

git clone <repository-url> this repository
cd linnotify
npm install

Running / Development

ember serve
Visit your app at http://localhost:4200.
Visit your tests at http://localhost:4200/tests.

Code Generators

Make use of the many generators for code, try ember help generate for more details

Running Tests

ember test
ember test --server

Linting

npm run lint
npm run lint:fix

Building

ember build (development)
ember build --environment production (production)

Deploying

Specify what it takes to deploy your app.

Add support for sub notifications

Each window must show all sub notifications

Application icon is needed

Don't show big_text if its same as just a text

This look dumb to see the big text as same as just a text

Recording mode is needed

To record REST-API

Add support for notification removal

All notification removed from the phone must also be removed from desktop

Do not create default window

Currently ember-electron creates default window.
This feature disables this behaviour

SSL mode is required

SSL mode is required for REST-API

Add support for big text

Show big text if notification comes with it

Handle /notify API correctly

Currently /notify creates a new window. And it doesn't take in acount the package name, id and removal
This must be fixed

How these windows will be located.
We need to decide the behavior

New REST API server is needed

This REST API server will serve notification that comes from android.

REST API Server port: 7777
binds on localhost

Methods:

GET /status
returns {"status":"ok"}

Notification REST-API method

new REST API must be added to handle incoming notification:

POST /notify

   "icon" : "base64 encoded icon", // optional
}

This notification must be received by REST API server. REST-API server
must create window and transfer all data to that window

Tray is needed

Tray icon with menu is needed to gracefully quit the application

Add progress type notification

Android can provide information about progress.
Linnotify desktop version must support that kind of notifications.

Try to fix devtron

Installing Devtron from /home/slavs/workspace/linnotify/electron-app/node_modules/devtron

Do not quit from electron application when all windows are closed

Currently application goes down when all windows are closed.
Application must not shutdown when no windows are present

Show notification icon

Show real icon instead of predefined svg icon
