The first non-gyro axis (the first on-screen slider) is always "dead". I view the axis outputs of the joystick driver using js_demo, an executable included with FlightGear, and axis 0 and 1 appear, to be the gyros, axis 2 is always outputting 0.0, axis 3 and up seem to work.

All related information when running ./configure:

configure: error: invalid value: boost_major_version=

it is yet unknown if this is caused by gcc 5.1 on Ubuntu 15.10, or other environment settings.
I guess this is also blocking you from adding a wily wolf ppa repo

It's been amazing, despite the little bugs and crashes then and there, to replay my favorite racing games using this. Tilting my phone left-right to turn, making custom layouts, even managing to fly on War Thunder-simulation mode. No gamepad can top that. However the last OS the software and the driver worked on was Windows 8. It's long gone.

Please update, and thank you for this project.

This's because many people uses non-Ubuntu-based distros; for example, I'm currently using Debian Stable.

The dependencies list in the readme is incomplete.

the installing stopped at installing drivers and not progressing
