🏠 wip home assistant tablet ui
A work-in-progress native UI for Home Manager, designed to be ran on a Raspberry Pi with a touch-screen for a "home automation tablet" experience, but can also be used on the desktop if so desired.
Written in Rust using iced.
It'd be nice to have a downloader implementation with integration with HASS' download services https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/#downloading
The weather card doesn't currently add much value, it should provide a click-through for detailed weather view. As part of this, it'd be nice to get the animated weather icons working but usvg doesn't provide support for this so we'll need a workaround.
When a doorbell sensor is triggered, an overlay should be shown with an option for opening 2-way comms.
Who doesn't like to turn on their kettle from the other side of the house?
A separate CCTV view should be provided on the omni overview page
Currently the lighting UI is unintuitive and pretty ugly
Per-room climate control should be implemented with support for HVAC/fans/etc
When running on a Raspberry Pi, it'd be nice to have the application dim itself/go into some screen saver mode for saving OLED displays.
