To not make Cerial lay claim on TIMER0 automatically, the "get millis since program start" function (millis() in wiring.c) should be passed in by the user. If that function is null, no wall clock should be used.

Right now, the example file uses about 20% of the memory of the Arduino Uno. It's possible we could get this down if instead of relying on the <Arduino.h> Serial implementation, we just inline anything we need for the UART+USB communication into logging.c and get rid of the Arduino Core code completely.
