It would be nice to have an option to view video with an external video player like mpv or vlc.

The YouTube API is giving a 403 abuse error for every request:

I like the concept of your addon as an alternative to RSS Feed . But I want youtube thumbnail in update section so the video gets played in popup cause I use this extension -->

As I dont watch in potplayer. Also, the menu disappears after clicking elsewhere on the page . Please fix both of these. Also, can you add count of new videos like RSS Feed.

Such a great extension. I loved every moment of using it. Now it is no longer able to connect to youtube servers. Wish someone would revive this project :(

Already a few days channel updates does not work

On the list there are some channels that stay, but others disappear of the list and do not notificate me for a new video for that reason

I'm missing the "Add to Youtube Notifications" button on the New Youtube Beta Layout.
I'm wondering if you'd add support for the new layout?

It would be great if you could add a feature to only show notifications when the user goes live.

There are several channels that I would love to get a notification for when they go live, but don't want a notification when they upload a video.

Currently, the "IMPORT SUBSCRIPTIONS" button misses many of my subscriptions so I tried manually allowing channels but I ran into this issue.

I unsubscribed from a Youtube channel and afterwards the Youtube Notifications button no longer appears on any Youtube pages. Any idea how I can get it back again? It's still enabled in settings.

There is no red button next to the subscribe button and it wont let me import subscriptions. Tried new YouTube design and old.

I click Import Subscriptions and it just takes me to youtube.com/feed/channels. Now what? How do I add them? And when I try to add them manually via the search bar, nothing happens at all. The search bar doesn't search for anything at all. No results at all.

i really love your chrome extension. It works great for my purposes.
The only improvement i would really like to suggest is an extra button on the pop-up alongside 'Watch' and 'Dismiss' that would allow me to add the video to the 'watch later' queue on Youtube.

(Don't know if there are potential problems with rights management regarding the google account that would make this difficult?)

Are you planning to release a version for firefox
I currently open a youtube link with the addon "openwith" https://addons.mozilla.org/es/firefox/addon/open-with and open the link with mpv, it would be nice to have it available for firefox.

I was wondering if it was possible to get a full screen page. I have multiple Monitors and would find it quite amazing if I could see the page get updated on the fly so I just need to glance over to see the updates and cherry pick what I want to view when it happens rather then a small list that I have to click the icon, etc.

I want to import every single subscription I have. I have more than 1000+ subs, however, when I import them, only 199 subscriptions are only showed. I want about 1,034 channels to have notifications. But I can't believe it only shows that limit. Can I ask, is this an issue or is that just there because thats the limit.

It do not subscribe a channel to your extension when i activate the bell of a channel on youtube. i have the "synchronize with youtube's bell" activated

I found your app is very easy to create a playlist for PotPlayer through the right-click menu in the program. But I want to ask whether to put a more complete support like this:

There are a couple of comments on the notification window:

• very often cuts the channel name. Maybe put it in a third separate line

Badge numbers: Badge numbers will make it easier to see how many new uploads there are at a glance.

Highlight and sort: Channels are sorted alphabetically, instead of by recent uploads. Highlighting and sorting by the latest uploads will make it quicker to catch up on your subscriptions.

I have, for one reason or another, disabled notifications but they still come through.

I've looked through the code and cannot see anywhere that the option of 'settings.notifications.enabled' is checked when calling to notify. It only checks for this setting when adding default options.

I've cloned this, so will probably fix on my branch if this isn't done soon - and will PR if I do it first :)

Hi, I have 2 user profiles for Youtube under the same google account. I want to import the subscription for the secondary account that gives me the error above. The first user profile seems to work but it shows me my (one) subscriptions multiple times which is weird.

Unfortunately I cannot provide any additional informations. The console and the network informations do not show any errors.
