It's very strange because the Microbit memory size is around 256KB and probably more in Microbit v2.
Do you have some suggestion?

Hello,
I'm using the MakeCode tool for a Microbit version2 and I imported the library as suggested in the following link https://www.waveshare.com/wiki/1.8inch_LCD_for_micro:bit.
Then, I understood that the guide is related to microbit v1 like also the library function but I think that the procedure should be similar also for Microbit V2.
Anyway, considering the following steps:

the microbit seems that not communicate with the display and remains always white.

Did I forget something?
Do you have some suggetsion?

Is there a function that permit to clear a specific display area?
The idea was to simulate the square movement then I would like to clear the previous square and create a new one.

Hi, using the LCD_Display is redrawing the complete screen and being too slow.
Is it possible to implement the LCD_DisplayWindow function to redraw only parts of the screen ?

This does not work with v2.
For one, the 'send data' function is missing. Even when manually entering it in another Python editor (MU) it doesn't work.

The current codebase is a partially ported conversion of what is available for Microbit v1. The product should not be sold and advertised as compatible with Microbit v2 before there is at least basic like-for-like functionality in place, like partial screen update. As it stands, users would need to patch the code to make any sensible use of the display, which you can see evidenced by some of the forks in this repo. Kindly take the time to complete the migration of functionality. I will contact my UK supplier with this feedback as well as the product really should be pulled or advertised as for Microbit v1 only as it stands.
