Building

This blog is built with Jekyll and depends on Twitter Bootstrap and Font Awesome.

Dependencies are managed with a custom rakefile.

To build a working copy of this blog:

Install the Jekyll gem
Clone this repository to wherever you like (or clone a fork)
Build with rake

Contributing

Content for this blog is open-source. Posts on the subject of automated frontend web testing are welcome from any authors.

Fork, create your post in the _posts directory, commit and create a new pull request.

Fix in-page links in "CSS Validator Improvements Overview"

When viewing the post itself, the in-page links work just fine.

When presented as an except, they act as in-page links to the page in which the except is present. This is not right.

Twitter bootstrap update

Hey,

FYI I used your source as a template for my blog as well. I'm still changing the colors, but here's the URL.

I thought I'd warn you next time you update twitter-bootstrap the header is going to go to hell. Your bootstrap CSS file has the text defined like so:

.hero-unit p { }

The new bootstrap file removes the p and moves the formatting into the base
.hero-unit { }

Which makes the most recent tweet and next/previous post links huge and kills the spacing. I'd make a backup of your bootstrap css file and be careful with your rake
