Hi !

When I search a channel and add it to my main menu, I have a notification telling me I added it. But if I do it again, I have exactly the same notification. Instead I expected to have an other one telling me I already have bookmarked this channel.

With other extensions or with local videos, there is a little icon of each viewed videos. Maybe it's a missconfiguration of me, but I don't have this icons on the videos viewed from this plugins. Is it possible to add them ?

I have Kodi running on a raspi 4 with Raspbian. When trying to launch this plugin, I have this errors :

I don't understand what means the first error, but since Kodi on a raspi takes control on the graphical stack, I don't know if it can have windows like the one in this error.
@webmeister Do you use this plugin on a Kodi installed on a raspi or a standard computer ?

When I remove a channel from a category, it doesn't appear outside, in the main menu. I have to search him and add him again.

In some situations, after having added new channels or modified categories, the main menu is not reloaded. Usually exiting the plugin and launching it again does the job, but sometimes not. Having the possibility to perform a manual menu refresh could be a good improvement (with an item from the main menu for example).

Optimization :
1/ I've to wait about ± 1minute before video opened and can stream it.
In plugin.video.youtube.channels 6.6.0 it takes several seconds.

2/ Some characters seems not to be supported éèêà.. on search

Thank you for sharing the link of this addon from the repo of the main youtube addon.

I try to use it, but it appears this addon can't be started if there is no saved youtube channel.

In the kodi logfile, I have :

After a quick look in the source code, this addon first try to open the file ~/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/plugin.video.youtube.channels/youtube.channels, which doesn't exist the first time I start this plugin. If there is no loaded chans from this file, this plugin start a function with no parameter, but python complains about it.

Is it possible to have the youtube.channels file generated if it doesn't exist ?

For searching for a new channel, one has to select an already saved channel and use the contextual menu for launching the research.
I think the contextual menu should be only for actions on the selected item, and launching a new search should be done from an item in the main menu.
