I have seen this same problem. I can only see 8 of the 13 users I have. Only these same 8 users appear in the drop down under plex.tv in WebTools-NG also so the problem is not just limited to the export function.

I also see all 13 friends in the list when using the plex web app.
All have accepted the invites.
None of these users are members of plex home.
I can't view users details one by one because the missing ones are also not in the drop down.

I have some users that have viewed content on this server. Some of them appear in the set of 8, some don't. So I don't think it's related to if they have used plex or not.

I have tried exporting a few times but have the same results. It's always the same 8 that appear.

Plex version 1.32.8.7639 is running in a docker container in unraid locally in my home.
I am using 1.2.1.f962812 of WebTools-NG

From your description, it would appear that WebTools-NG is functioning correctly, since one server/ID is able to report correctly.

The .csv file is not truncated, it is simply missing the data you expected.

There may be an issue with your Plex account, Internet connection or possibly the Docker container. All seem unlikely, but worth looking into just the same.

I do see that your server is remote, so that could point to a connection issue of some sort ???

Otherwise, your logs do not show anything that would raise an eyebrow, so I am unsure what the issue could be.

Are any of the missing users, members of Plex Home?
Have all of the missing users accepted the invite?
What happens when you try to view the missing users details, one by one?

Thanks for responding. I will continuing to gather further observations and try to investigate and troubleshoot.

19 Oct. Installing PMS on additional hosts (Unraid and macOS) and signing into Plex account full list of Plex Friends (21) appears. WebTools-NG on multiple macOS hosts – pulldown list in WebTool-NG and exported CSV – continues to show only 13 Plex Friends instead of expected 21. Next thing I might try is to remove some or all affected Plex Friends to observe results in WebTools-NG.

If WebTools-NG is unable to display the missing Friends, then most likely they have NOT accepted the invite or there is some other anomaly with your Plex account.

Go to this page: https://www.plex.tv/contact/ and make an enquiry about your account and the missing friends.

They may be able to help you, fingers crossed.

This appears to be related to an issue in Plex and I am unsure if this issue has been addressed by Plex or not.

I've read through the page at your link. Thanks.

This talks about not being able to get any list of users during the View state Copy functions. This problem I am referring to is that some users are returned, but the list is truncated to 8.

Interestingly enough, when going to the Download section of WebTools, and selecting the server from the left combo, the media library drop down is also not complete. It also only shows 8 items. Not sure if that's related. What's even more odd is that if I go to Find Media in WebTools and pull down that media library list, all media libraries are present.

Not wishing to go too outside the scope of topic (WebTools-NG "Export all users to CSV" is truncated (missing records). DrWatson observation (previous to this one) prompted me to review this WebTools function. I'm am seeing truncated lists in WebTool's Download function.

Plex Media Server "Travancore1A"
Version 1.40.0.7775 running as Docker container on Unraid 6.12.6
Plex interface shows 11 libraries (8x "TV Show" libraries, 3x Other Videos libraries)

Plex Media Server "Travancore1B"
Version 1.40.0.7775 running as Docker container on Unraid 6.12.6
Plex interface shows 11 libraries (5x "Movies" libraries, 4x "TV Show" libraries, 2x Other Videos libraries)

WebTools-NG v1.2.1f962812 on macOS Sonoma 14.2.1

WebTools-NG Observations

Observation 1
• WebTools > Download > Select server "Travancore1A"
• "Select Media Library" pulldown presents 3 libraries of 11 expected libraries.

Observation 2
• WebTools > Download > Select server "Travancore1B"
• "Select Media Library" pulldown presents 7 of 11 expected libraries.

Quitting and re-starting WebTools shows the same results (same libraries appearing/not appearing).

I am not able to replicate the issue with the Download module. Plex Media Server 1.40.0.7775, WebTools-NG version as shown in the image below.

Here, all available libraries are listed and they present all available files.

You may be experiencing a possible network issue or this may be a new twist to the formerly identified Plex issue, and yes partial lists are a part of the issue that was identified.

I will ask Tommy to look into the issue, but please be aware that Tommy is extremely busy with his new Plex duties, so he may not be able to attend to this issue for some time.

I am running the same version of WebTools.

My version of PMS is older, but oddly says it's up to date:
image

Awfully specific network issue given it's the same users missing and also the same libraries missing every time I try it. The server is also local, so really doubt it's network.

Did you look in the drop down for users? Do you have more than say, a dozen users on the server you're testing with?

If you need me to try anything, let me know. For now, I am just going to leave this alone until I hear otherwise.

You are probably running the Public release for Plex which is usually a version or more behind the Beta releases.

I have contacted Tommy and I am waiting to hear back from him.
