MusicXML to Flipper Music Format

This script reads a (not compressed) MusicXML (Wikipedia) file and transforms it to the Flipper Music Format which can be executed on the Flipper Zero.

This allows to compose your music with graphical tools like MuseScore and play the music on the Flipper.

Installation

The basic usage is explained here: #1

Via PyPi

The package is on pypi. Just run:

pip install musicxml2fmf

From Source

To install the script from source you need poetry. With poetry run:

$ poetry install
…
$ poetry run musicxml2fmf --help

  • Tests
  • Changelog
  • Support for multiple parts: selection of a part to convert
  • get bpm based on the tempo given in musicxml
  • Don't write out the octave and duration if it is the same as the default

Pip Install Fail, problem with lxml lib

Hello, and congratulations on the idea ;)
I'm having problems installing via pip, I've already tried different versions of python (all with its environment variabilities set correctly, from 3.8, because versions before that don't recognize for example the := command, up to 3.11) and from different pc's, but I can never install via pip (i'm on windows machine).

give me this error:

Apparently it is a problem with the lxml file wheel, even trying to install the lxml library I have problems.
I have already tried several solutions but without success, do you have any solution?

i have already try to install also like py -3.11 -m pip install lxml or py -3.11 -m pip install musicxml2fmf, or also python3.11 -m pip install musicxml2fmf, (or lxml) , but dont work, same error...

Also try python setup.py install --without-cython, but also dont work.

I have also try to install from source , from here: https://github.com/lxml/lxml with python setup.py install but give me this error , and also try to colne repo (from official webiste solution) with git:

https://lxml.de/4.8/

But it's a older version (4.8) and the required is 4.9.1 8right?)
