The student management front-end system provides a responsive UI for a demo CRUD web-based app for student management.
These instructions will get you a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes. See deployment for notes on how to deploy the project on a live system.
What things you need to install the software and how to install them
- node
- npm
- Visual Studio Code

NOTE: in order to save and retrieve data from the back-end, you need to install and run the student management back-end system before doing this. Please follow the instructions at: https://github.com/williamyuaus/studentsys.git
- Extract the project ZIP package
- Open Command Prompt or Terminal and move it into the project
\studentapp
folder:
cd studentapp
- Then, you can run the app with the following command. This command runs the app in port
3000
:
npm start

Open your browser and go to the URL: http://localhost:3000/, you can view the app as following:

To access the source code, using the VS code to open the project folder, or clone the repository of the program: https://github.com/williamyuaus/studentapp.git
