Right now the only way this works with Fastify is to implement a custom controller. I am not familiar with Fastify enough to tell you what needs to go in there.
But I think this is a common enough use case that I am going to add support for it. Not sure how long it will take because I need to think on it.

So I actually forgot this was implemented at some point, I have tests proving it. I even added one with compression and it worked.
You will need to provide a minimal reproduction or a failing test case if you want me to dig into this issue more. Thanks
