A docker recipe to build a statically linked version of Tesseract, the opensource OCR software. Perfect for deployment on AWS Lambda or other cloud functions!
/usr/local/bin/tesseract: ELF 64-bit LSB pie executable, x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked, interpreter /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2, BuildID[sha1]=677026fcf15f932b957f0a6de38ad319b36fe107, for GNU/Linux 3.2.0, with debug_info, not stripped
I create a binary tesseract, but when i try to run it,it searches for leptonica files.Isn't leptonica too statically linked?because to use it in aws lambda,i will need to build leptonica then.
