As a service, I want to provide a baseline of movies a user can add to their collection so that the user continues to use the application

This may be accomplished by an initial seed task to get data into the system. More conversation will be needed to see if an autocomplete feature is truly required to meet MVP objective.

As an authenticated user, I want to see a splash screen welcoming me to the app so I have a personal experience and want to continue to use the application

Clicking on the splash image will take the user to his / her inventory listing.

As a service, I want to allow users to sign into the application using their Google account so that they do not have to remember another username / password

Steps required for integration:

• add Devise into Rails app
• integrate and configure omniauth google oauth2
• sign up for Google Developers account
• setup dotenv and ensure secrets are kept in ENV variables
• TEST.

As a service, I want to allow users to sign into the application using their Twitter account so that they do not have to remember another username / password

As a service, I want to allow users to sign into the application using their Facebook account so that they do not have to remember another username / password

As an authenticated user, I want to remove a movie from my collection so that I can keep my inventory current when I misplace a movie

As an authenticated user, I want to view a movie record in my collection so that I can see all details about that movie

As an authenticated user, I want to edit a movie in my collection so that when I change my mind about a rating or make a mistake in the format selected it can be adjusted

As an authenticated user, I want to search for a movie in my collection based upon a keyword so that I can quickly find a particular movie

As an authenticated user, I want to sort my movie list by rating, title, length or date added to my collection so that I can view the information in different order

As an authenticated user, I want to add a new movie to my collection so that I can keep my inventory up to date

As an authenticated user, I want to see suggestions of other movies I may have in my collection, based upon my current inventory so that I do not have to enter every movie manually

As a service, I want to build the back end infrastructure to support users and movies so that the application is usable quickly

The initial data model will need to include:

Movie

• title - 1-50 characters
• length - integer > 0 and < 500
• release_year - > 1800 and < 2100

Format

• name - must be VHS, DVD or Streaming

User

• email

MyMovies

• user_id
• movie_id
• format_id
• rating - null (default) or 1,2,3,4,5

As an authenticated user, I want to see a list of my movies in my collection so that I can have an up to date inventory system
