I met this issue too. I couldn't make it work with managed app, but it works after ejecting and linking manually.

Exactly. If You want to use this lib you probably have to eject (switch from managed workflow to bare), but it has serious consequences and should be done only if really necessary.

I have never tested with non-ejected apps... but I assume that when using third party libs everyone ejects anyway?
Short answer, you need to eject to use this lib :-)
