Change all references to Charlotte, NC or North Carolina to "Northeastern PA" "Pennsylvania" or "PA" depending on what works best with the content.

Ensure the meta tag includes the town "Wilkes-Barre" "Scranton" "Hazelton", and "Philadelphia"

Use the sandboxed app for fetching recent posts. I think we need to stop using the current auth token.

Update the homepage image to a more generic suburbs picture with rolling hills from http://www.freeimages.com/ or any other royalty free source. Just make sure the image is in the public domain.

Also make sure the image is the same dimensions exactly as the one being replaced.

Finally, make sure the image is run though imageoptim before committing to git (https://imageoptim.com)

Right now, I have only one blog post (has been that way for about 5 years), so the blog nav item redirects to the single post page.

Add a blog index with list view.

Requirements:

1. When I click on the blog nav item, I want to go to an index page that has the title, image, and an excerpt of all blog posts ordered by recency.
2. The current post doesn't have a date, but let's add a date to each post on the individual post template and index template. Just use today's date for the current post.
3. Ensure the new blog index shows up in the template: https://www.williamyoumans.com/sitemap.xml

This is primarily a front-end task, so you can hardcode all the template code and duplicate the title/excerpt from my one post over and over on the index. Don't worry about adding anything to the database or any dynamic routing. That'll come later.

I think they might have changed their API

Right now, the blog is static and uses hard coded templates.

Requirements:

1. Add a model for blog posts.
2. Make a generic template for posts.
3. Update the blog controller to dynamically build routes from the DB
