CIPTool

CIP Tool - tool for Yu-Gi-Oh! Tag Force CIP/CPM files

This tool is designed to unpack and repack the CIP packages which contain the card art in Yu-Gi-Oh! Tag Force games on PSP.

GIM format information

The game uses DXT1 texture compression for images.

Included in the release is a slightly modified GIMConv configuration with batch scripts (for batch conversion) and a suitable configuration for this game.

Information on how to use it is included in the zip package.

[TODO] Multiplatform support

  • Implement POSIX directory listing
  • Replace data types with generic ones (int with uint32, short int with uint16, etc.)
  • CMake
  • Implement appropriate endian swapping functions for each platform (namely macOS and Linux)

Corrupted Files

I'm trying to extract the files of the card artworks, but the extracted files are all corrupt. Jpg files can't be viewed and gim files can't be viewed or extracted with programs like Noesis. Is there a problem or am I doing something wrong? I can't get the program to open with Command Prompt either. Thank you.
