githubnotify's Issues

Add commandline param to disable pre-fetch ( -n, --no-prefetch )

Sometimes you don't want to fetch your 50+ unread notifications ( because you've not had a chance to mark them as read ), you just want to be notified of new notifications since you launched github-notify.

This would be useful for alerting you whilst you work to any 'new' items of interest. I usually read e-mails for notifications, and as such have large batches of 'unread' notifications.

I propose:

-n, --no-prefetch "Will not display existing notifications on first check, will only display subsequent notifications"

Install failing on Arch

When trying to install this from AUR, I get the following errors:

After searching the rest of the dependency tree exhaustively, these were the
goals I've had most trouble fulfilling: base, GithubNotify
Note: when using a sandbox, all packages are required to have consistent
dependencies. Try reinstalling/unregistering the offending packages or
recreating the sandbox.

I'm hoping it's just a little issue?

Dependency problems with gtk2hs-buildtools

I'm facing a problem in Arch Linux, trying to install from AUR makes download of gth2hs-buildtools-0.13.0.5-4, but it needs the version 0.13.2.1 instead, and it fails to build.

Tried to install haskell-gtk2hs-buildtools manually too, but nothing changed.

Unable to build due to compilation error

Well, I'm confused, wasn't expecting that, but here it is:

src/Main.hs:45:14: error: Not in scope: ‘checkStatus’

I've checked the code and couldn't find the source of the error.
