The implementation ignores somehow the margins you set for child items (through the adapter). So if you put a background of the TextView items in the sample you'd see the Manager doesn't consider the item's margins in its size calculation.

This can be fixed, as debugging so far, by calculating correctly the Rect of the child items in the Manager. I might have a solution and raise some minor pull request by this evening or send you a patch, but you might already have a better idea on this. :)
