In the upper left corner, there could be a map overview to know where we
are when editing a really big map (which remains to be tested with current
version ;( ). The only questionable point, is the performance issue, as it
could be hard to draw twice the map...
It could be a nice small step to draw the overview map as dots and lines.
with a specific spot, showing where you stand.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. trying to install
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected to see a list of dependencies required in the project and links
to download those dependencies. the version of the dependencies that you
are tested and perhaps
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
windows XP with python 2.5
Please provide any additional information below.
despite trying to install the various dependencies, I am unable to get the
program running. I am able to see the gtk main interface, and the white
canvas.. but I am unable to input any items on the canvas.

When the moving the node and it's children at the left of the central node,
one should reverse automaticaly all the nodes.

Use the map to produce a vim outliner file. This should be simple : a file
with the following syntax has to be produced :

This feature should draw some colored area arround selected nodes. The
convex envelop of nodes should do it.

As labyrinth as the problem I guess chartr has it. Eventually draw only
what's necessary, and what's on the screen. Proceed a bit like what's done
in OpenGL.

A little command line at the bottom of the screen could be nice. showing a
prompt.

This should be done, some time... maybe not necessary (pygtk should be ok.
but gstreamer could be a problem (where the hell are the binaries that were
on http://perso.orange.es/moutte983/gstreamer/) ?). but I should give it a try.

Like freemind functionality, a node could be locked (encyphered) provding a
