Having clickable links.

Adding vim like shortcuts (well some of them) could dramaticaly increase
productivity.

This feature should draw some colored area arround selected nodes. The
convex envelop of nodes should do it.

A bit like compiz negative plugin. Inverting all colors at once...

Could be nice.

Math equation to image.

A little command line at the bottom of the screen could be nice. showing a
prompt.

and showing full name of last keyboard command :

or 

> /abcd
> search abcd.

well something like that.

Suppress an element, try to go back to it sadly succeed.

Could be a nice feature to add a time stamp to a text. with a simple
shortcut ('t')

go to last insertion/append with '.'

Courant labyrinth imported version does not seem simple enough.

Usefull feature

In the upper left corner, there could be a map overview to know where we
are when editing a really big map (which remains to be tested with current
version ;( ). The only questionable point, is the performance issue, as it
could be hard to draw twice the map... 
It could be a nice small step to draw the overview map as dots and lines.
with a specific spot, showing where you stand.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected to see a list of dependencies required in the project and links 
to download those dependencies. the version of the dependencies that you 
are tested and perhaps 



What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
windows XP with python 2.5

despite trying to install the various dependencies, I am unable to get the 
program running. I am able to see the gtk main interface, and the white 
canvas.. but I am unable to input any items on the canvas.

Having a grid on the background, could be nice.

adding vim outliner / freemind / vym / ... could be a nice feature.

When the moving the node and it's children at the left of the central node,
one should reverse automaticaly all the nodes. 

Add html export. Produce some clickable map.

It should be nice if the text nodes could be colored

As labyrinth as the problem I guess chartr has it. Eventually draw only
what's necessary, and what's on the screen. Proceed a bit like what's done
in OpenGL.

Add cut and paste of nodes

It should be possible to change the style of the nodes.

Don't know it it's possible, but could be a nice enhancement. just clicking
on a node and zooming in and out it's children.

Try to simplify the code, so that it does only what's necessary.

Adding a bookmark management could be nice for writing big maps. cylcing
through bookmarks, using vim shortcuts and F2.

It should be possible to undo any action.

CharTr has no icon. This should be done (tough task for a non graphic
designer !!).

Just a reminder.

It should be possible to add icons to nodes.

The color should be the same for the link before, and the line under it.

This feature should link selected elements with straight lines.

When inserting a new node, the children should automatically shift.

As well as for texts, there should be a possibility to change links style.

Select a map, unselect the nodes, quit it. No reload is possible.

Use the map to produce a vim outliner file. This should be simple : a file
with the following syntax has to be produced :
Heading1
    Heading2
    | some text.
    Heading2
    | another text.
        Heading3
        | err...

option 's' for primary item.

This should be done, some time... maybe not necessary (pygtk should be ok.
but gstreamer could be a problem (where the hell are the binaries that were
on http://perso.orange.es/moutte983/gstreamer/) ?). but I should give it a try.

could be a good idea.

Opening a folder will results, into the generation of a mind map
representing the folder.

This may work better like this.

Yes could be a good idea. 

A single left click could fullfill this action.

Like freemind functionality, a node could be locked (encyphered) provding a
password, this with result in folding/unfolding it.

It could be a good idea to link a map to a specified node, opening it in a
new tab when clicked.

Possibility to cut and paste a node to another node.

going from an element to another underlying element is some times unpossible.

Add pdf export from labyrinth.

add some label to the links ('L' on a node).

It should be possible to export one map in other formated views like
fishbone for instance :
