Starway to Orione: the Orione Team Learning Path

This is the learning path every new developer has to follow when joining the XPeppers team.

This path reflects our team's culture and values, which have their roots in the agile values and principles, as well as in those of XP, and in the software craftsmanship manifesto.

Please feel free to fork and contribute, add materials, fix the existing ones and propose new stuff.

starway-to-orione's Issues

Hexagonal architecture

I think that email like "Architettura esagonale e DIP" of @xpepper should be not be forgotten...

We could keep these resources about singular topic so that we can avoid to search on google everytime we want something in-depth.

Let's make a roadmap together!

Dear contributors,
I'd like to discuss with you some topics about the roadmap for this project, e.g.

  • What should we go with StarwayToOrione?
  • How should we mix the paths together?
  • How should we organize all the available paths so that everyone can make up its own path?

I have some ideas but need yours.
What about an hangout one of these days?

Refresh, improve and extend this learning path!

This is a kinda of meta-issue: I'd like to refresh, improve and extend this learning path.

I've spotted several improvement opportunities, to name a few (but important to me):

I encourage you to create issues for every improvement we could make together on this learning path.

I'll create an issue about the first point in my list, Agile learning path, to start collecting ideas, resources and feedback.

When we'll have enough stuff for a first version of the Agile learning path, we'll add that to the repo. WDYT?

An explicit Agile learning path

One of the feedback we often receive on this learning path is that, while the technical side is solid and rich (TDD, refactoring, simple design, languages...), it is missing an explicit path for learning and mastering agile methods more on the process side.
The only reference to this is the three chapters of "XP Explained", which is really not enough.

I'd like therefor to create an explicit Agile Methods' path, alongside the other paths.

Here I'll start collecting resources, ideas, feedback to create such a path.
Please join if you are willing to help and participate.
