We need a way to know the depth. Currently, there is a 150 kHz NASA Marine transducer mounted.
Few solutions:

• Actisense DST-2-150 to translate it to NMEA, send it out to WiFi, show it on iDevice
• NASA Clipper instrument

Buy new VHF - Fixed or handheld

Things to think:

• GPS reception inside cabin can be poor
• Mounting position to use from cockpit
• AIS ?
• NMEA 2000 ?

If using AIS Transceiver with remote GPS antenna, the GPS data can be pumped to VHF (NMEA 2000 could be easier)

Mount for instruments on deck:

• Charger
• iPad (for charting - iSailor)
• iPhone
• Kindle (for instrumentation ?)
