[Discontinued] Hackintosh Catalina EFI for Asus N552VW-FI202T

Works in macOS Catalina 10.15.5 in BIOS ver. 300 This EFI uses OpenCore EFI Bootloader.

Tested and works perfectly:

Intel graphic card with all DVMT (64 -> 512);
Keyboard light and all FN shortcuts;
WiFi/Bluetooth with Handoff, Airport (i've BCM94360CS2 with NGFF M.2 adapter);
iMessage and FaceTime if you are lucky like me and if you have a minimum of knowledge of iMessage, FaceTime, SMBIOS, RTVariables, NVRAM, ecc..;
Touchpad with all gesture;
Battery recognition;
SD card reader;
All USB ports;
Ethernet (you have to replace rtl8111.kext with nullethernet.kext for iMessage and FaceTime);
HDMI video/audio with 2.0 support;
USB type C;
Audio with jack 3.5 without distortion or loss of stereo;

Tested and doesn't work:

Sleep in AC mode;
NVIDIA graphic card (disabled);

Internal speakers not working

I have a N552VW FHD, BIOS v300.

Your EFI works almost flawlessly with Catalina 10.15.7, many thanks for that!

However I have one issue with the audio: Internal speakers do not work at all, although selected in the sound output options.
Only wired headphones work.

Yesterday, after some connection/disconnection attempts with my AirPods using a Belkin USB adapter (the connection only works if you unpair/repair the AirPods after they have been connected to another device), the audio started coming out of the internal speakers.

It survived some reboots, but after a kernel panic caused by the graphics driver (display was switched off but not sleeping, on AC), the internal speakers stopped working and I cannot get them to function again.

Could you point me to where the issue may lie? I also tried updating to the latest AppleALC version, but this stopped the internal speakers from appearing at all, so I reverted to your version.

first， it happened rarely，this problem can be happened after reboot from windows or when you off the duty,and shut down the Macos, even the screen was black and all the indicate led on the asus notebook was killed, after one hour, when you get home ,press the start button, you will find the pc is still awake, and type the password,you will find the speaker doesn't work anymore, although it can be fixed by reboot, but ,i have a good solution to solve this issue, here is the link:

I used this last year, and i think it was good, maybe this can help you to make the EFI better , thanks!

some bugs may be caused by this ,if you don't have this need, use it with caution.

Working on N552VW - not4k*

Hello, firstly I have asus n552vw laptop full hd not 4k 1920 * 1080

Can I run on my laptop or do you have any suggestions for efi ?

Can I ask you something about my Trackpad

I've used your EFI files and it works perfectly except my trackpad.
I've convert the pin number from Windows,and it is same with your pin number(opened in isal)
windows BIOS device name : _SB.PCI0.I2C1.ETPD
in IOACPIPlane 0x5f convers to pin number is 0x47
and patched in config ,the trackpad still not exsist in catalina,
however,it works perfectly even without the trackpad, thanks again.
