In the current version of this library, the only way of performing validations on multiple fields is to use the hooks api but that approach is somewhat limiting.

Suggestion: Introduce an API that allows users to supply a list of non-field specific validators, this way when all field level validation pass, these generic validators would be ran one after the other with the object under validation. Successful validation would require that all these generic validators return successfully.
