I currently use https://github.com/cvzi/darkmodewallpaper, which has this functionality, but your app looks way better (especially considering that I use a Galaxy phone), so I'd like to see this feature in DualWallpaper 😃

Since I always have the night mode enabled, DualWallpaper doesn't fit my needs as of now.

Some wallpapers lend themselves to fading between them. Would be great if the opacity would shift every 2 hours or so.

Hello thanks for this beautiful app.
It works when I manually switch the dark mode, but it doesn't with the scheduled dark mode. I'm using automatic dark mode on Samsung One UI 5.1.1.

Would it be possible to select multiple Wallpapers for Start/Lock-Screen?

For example: I have 3 Wallpapers set for my Lockscreen that rotate each time i open the phone, but if I use the app i am restricted to only one.

This bug seems to affect newer 2.x version only. The apps keep changing the color then freeze for a short time if lockscreen/primary wallpaper is 2 different one, makes it impossible to do anything unless the switch is turned off or do it fast.

This is a pretty big request, so no worries if you decide not to pursue, but I think it would be amazing if you could add slideshow functionality.

Instead of one wallpaper for each theme, this would let users select multiple wallpapers, and the app would automatically change the wallpaper to a different random wallpaper after whatever length of time the user sets.

Love this app. Been looking for an easy option to have different wallpapers for light and dark mode and this app just works for that! Great work 👍

I am on a Samsung S23+ with Android 13 and One UI 5.1. And I love the "Material You" style color change where my background image determines much of my phone's color theme and changes many apps to make them all coherent.

When this app changes my background, the color palette is not changing to adopt though. I tried with a green and red image and the color palette would only update once I set the background image manually through the settings.

Could we add support to update the color palette along with the background image?

Again, https://github.com/cvzi/darkmodewallpaper already has this feature to simply pick a color as background. I'd like to see this in DualWallpaper as well.

Whenever the wallpaper switches, the SystemUI process freezes and I get the ANR dialog.

Have a Pixel 4XL. I feel like lately my device has gotten slower, but apart from that stability is usually great.

I haven't rebooted my device so far though, will report back (and potentially close this) once I did that.

Wanted to create the issue anyway in case someone else faces the same issue and to say thanks for the otherwise great app :)

It would be nice to have a small gallery with sample dual wallpapers in the app or at least provide a link to a particular website where they could be safely downloaded. For an average user it's too much of a hassle to do it manually and many wallpaper websites are obscure.

After choosing the image it'd be great to be able to customize the field of view before applying it.
Samsung does it great natively when setting a wallpaper via the gallery. You can pinch-zoom and align the image to your liking before applying.

Hello there, I have been working on creating icons for DualWallpaper on the Articons Icon Pack. One the issues I have run into though is that I do not know how DualWallpaper switch icons with system theme. Currently, when using the IconRequest app what I get back is this for both light and dark mode:

de.dlyt.yanndroid.dualwallpaper
de.dlyt.yanndroid.dualwallpaper.ui.activity.MainActivity

Because they are the same in both light and dark mode, the icon pack is not able to differenciate between the two thus making switching icons impossible. Any insight would be appreciated, thank you.
